TL;DR: Sony is finally binning its live service obsession after the absolute car crash that was Concord. The Horizon co-op project is getting a massive reboot to save it from the scrapheap.
It is about bloody time Sony stopped chasing trends like a headless chicken. After the disaster that was ↗Concord, they are finally pivoting away from that miserable live service rot.
The ↗Horizon co-op game is being reworked into a proper story-driven experience. Maybe now they can actually make a game that isn't just a soulless, cash-grabbing server nightmare.
